Watch Porn: IWC Launches Three New ‘Top Gun’ Ceramic Chronographs

Since 2018, IWC Schaffhausen has collaborated with more than a dozen U.S. Navy and Marine Corps aviation units to create licensed editions exclusively available to present and former squadron members. These mil-spec service watches directly inspired the latest additions to IWC’s Top Gun line. The Pilot’s Watches Chronographs Editions Blue Angels, Royal Maces, and Tophatters all feature 44.5-mm ceramic cases with Ceratanium® pushers and crowns. All three also share IWC’s 69380 Calibre automatic movement with a 46 hour power reserve. The distinguishing feature is the respective squadron patch engraved on the titanium case-back and repeated on the dial at 6 o’clock, and the squadron colors used as accents on the chronograph seconds hand, the small seconds, and the day-date display at 3 o’clock.
