Seiko is expanding the 5 Sports line with a new GMT watch. Introduced in 1968, 5 Sports was relaunched in 2019 with a broader collection designed to appeal to active – read youthful – mechanical watch buyers. The 5 Sports GMT watch is squarely aimed at international travelers. Available in black, blue or orange, the high-contrast dial can be read at a glance. All the hands and markers have a generous layer of Lumibrite coating, and the two-tone rotating bezel is separated into day and night zones. Bright red GMT hands standout against the black and blue dials, while the orange dial sets off a black GMT hand. Both the 42.5-mm case and five-row bracelet are stainless steel and draw inspiration from Seiko’s popular SKX series.
