Monitaly Turned Surplus Fall Fabrics Into A Cozy Capsule Of Quilted Totes

Yuki Matsuda is giving leftover fabrics from past Monitaly Fall/Winter collections a new life as quilted tote bags. Many of the upcycled fabrics were developed exclusively for Monitaly, including a wool jacquard from the FW15 line designed by Matsuda and produced by the storied Woolrich Woolen Mills. The selection also includes bags made with military grade nylon ‘flight’ stain, Italian wool and super lightweight nylon rip-stop – the same fabric used to make parachutes. Each fabric produced a small of batch of bags, so quantities are limited.

Monitaly Daily Tote Bag ($65 – $85), available now at monitaly.com.
