The 2026 Dutch Grand Prix will be the last Formula 1 race in Netherlands. Held in the seaside resort of Zandvoort since 2021, the Dutch Grand Prix built a reputation for raw intensity. Circuit Zandvoort challenges drivers with its narrow layout and banked corners. While its setting on the windswept North Sea coast introduces shifting conditions that change the rhythm of a race without warning. Zandvoort is the home track of four time F1 Drivers’ Championship winner Max Verstappen. The Dutchman’s driving style is characterized by aggression, precision and adaptability, allowing him to excel in Zandvoort’s racing conditions. The return of F1 to Zandvoort ignited a strong fan culture, defined by a sea of orange in the grandstands. And helped along by Verstappen’s victories in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
TAG Heuer’s latest Formula 1 Solargraph draws on Zandvoort’s intensity, translating it into two limited editions. Designed to commemorate the final Dutch Grand Prix on 23 August 2026, both versions make a bold statement in orange and steel. Across both watches, the visual identity remains consistent. A 38mm sandblasted steel case frames a grey opalin dial with a date window at 3 o’clock. The dial also features an orange-red flange, red-lacquered hands and indexes filled with eggshell colored Super-LumiNova that glows green in the dark.
Limited to 1,500 pieces, the first edition (WBY111H.FT8128 / $2,150.00) is paired with an orange rubber strap. The second, limited to 1,000 pieces, introduces a sandblasted steel bracelet (WBY111L.BA0042 / $2,250.00). Powered by TAG’s Solargraph movement, both watches harness natural and artificial light as a virtually unlimited energy source. A one-minute exposure to direct sunlight is enough to power the watch for an entire day. While a full charge, reached in under 40 hours of light exposure, delivers up to ten months of power.
