Huckberry’s first ever collaboration with Swiss watchmaker Zodiac is a custom version of the popular Super Sea Wolf diver inspired by the rugged, windswept Farallon Islands. Sometimes referred to by mariners as Devil’s Teeth, the islands sit 31 miles off the coast of San Francisco in dark and bitterly cold waters stalked by a thriving population of great white sharks. Limited to 82 pieces, the Huckberry x Zodiac Super Sea Wolf ‘Farallon’ Edition ($1,095.00) features a 40mm stainless steel case with a co-branded caseback engraved with the exact coordinates of the Farallon Islands. The gradient white streaks on the dark blue dial converge at 12 o’clock to represent light filtering down into the depths from the ‘surface’ – an allusion to “the islands’ perch at the edge of the Continental Slope before it drops away to depths exceeding 11,000 feet.” Bold ‘signal yellow’ SuperLuminova accents offer a sharp contrast to the inky blue dial. huckberry.com
