The Spring/Summer 2020 Fred Perry x BEAMS collaboration focuses on fabric and form. Referencing ’90s sportswear, Beams turned Fred Perry’s signature twin tipped polo into an oversized shirt with dropped shoulders and four laurel wreaths embroidered in colors inspired by tennis courts – a callback to the brands roots. The quadruple logo also appears on a colorful, oversized striped cotton jersey T-shirt and a boxy fit camp collar shirt. Of course, it wouldn’t be a retro ’90s collection without a Britpop era polyester tricot track suit with the BEAMS quad logo embroidered across the back of the jacket and down the side of the pants.
