Monitaly’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection is a creative re-purposing of vintage military style and modern tailoring. This won’t surprise any fans of the brand. Creative Director Yuki Matsuda’s collections often have a vaguely army surplus vibe. Spring/Summer 2018 has all the hallmarks: fatigue green, smokey gray, beige and navy; cut from Monitaly’s signature Vancloth & Sons cotton poplin; perfectly proportion with a diligent attention to detail. Matsuda has a formula that doesn’t tire.
