IWC just introduced the first all-black version of the Portugieser. The Portugieser Chronograph Ceratanium (Ref. IW371631) is forged in matte black Ceratanium, a titanium alloy developed in-house. Alongside the Ceratanium case, crown, and pushers, the watch features a black dial with black appliques and hands, and a rubber strap in the same shade. Ceratanium combines the lightness and strength of titanium with the hardness and scratch-resistance of ceramic. Another characteristic of Ceratanium is its distinctive, dark and metallic finish. This release marks the first use of this advanced material in the Portugieser collection, and the fifth addition to IWC’s lineup of Ceratanium watches. Available in a limited edition of 1,500 pieces.
