TAG Heuer and Fragment Design just dropped their third collaboration. The first collaboration in 2018 was a stripped-back version of the Carrera Chronograph that emphasized its sleek design. The second, in 2020, focused on the TAG Heuer Formula 1, offering a more graphic, high-contrast look. Both watches featured Hiroshi Fujiwara’s distinctive black-and-white palette, and both became immediately collectable. Now, the collaboration returns to the original model with the new TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph x fragment. Fujiwara accentuated the chronograph’s glassbox design with a contrasting white outer flange. He also brought back a black-on-black dial, complemented by a customized date disc where Fragment’s lightning bolt logo is used to represent the numbers 1 and 11. His innovative design uses modern materials and proportions to enhance clarity, depth and visual impact on the dial – while retaining the spirit of the original 1960s Carrera. Available now in a limited edition of 500 individually numbered watches.
