Watch Porn: Fragment Design’s Hiroshi Fujiwara Redesigns TAG Heuer’s Formula 1 Chrono

For its second collaboration with TAG Heuer, Fragment Design re-imagined the Swiss watchmakers Formula 1 Collection. Inspired by the C-Case models from the 1960’s and 1970’s, Fragment’s founder Hiroshi Fujiwara striped the normally colorful Formula 1 architecture down to its bare essentials. The high contrast black and white design of the TAG Heuer x Fragment Design Chronograph is offset by red indexes and a red lacquered central hand. Turn the 40mm steel case over, and the in-house Heuer 02 movement is visible through a circular red sapphire crystal window. Limited to 500 pieces, Hiroshi Fujiwara’s exclusive design keeps the racing-inspired notched bezel that’s emblematic of the Formula 1 line and adds a new 5-row steel bracelet with butterfly folding clasp.

The TAG Heuer x Fragment Design Chronograph ($6,150.00) is available now at tagheuer.com.
