Watch Porn: New Bremont Vulcan Celebrates Iconic British Bomber

The latest addition to Bremont’s Armed Forces watch collection celebrates an iconic symbol of British aviation and engineering, the Avro Vulcan. Operated by the Royal Air Force from 1956 until 1984, this tail-less, delta-wing, high altitude strategic bomber was a key component of Britain’s nuclear deterrent during the Cold War and carried the country’s first nuclear weapon. The Bremont Vulcan is housed in a 42-mm steel case with an enclosed case back decorated with an engraving of the bomber and the heraldic badge of the RAF. The matte black dial features a running seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock with a two-tone 3-D camouflage design, and an elapsed minutes 3 o’clock counter segmented with a nuclear symbol – a nod to the arsenal early Vulcan’s carried onboard. White (blue emission) Super-LumiNova coats the dial’s numerals, sub-dial hands, and skeleton hour and minute hands. Bremont’s BE-51AE chronometer rated movement powers the watch with a 56-hour reserve. Limited to 250 pieces, the watch comes with an ‘RAF Blue’ sailcloth strap and complimentary camo sailcloth strap, inspired by the Avro’s disruptive pattern camouflage paint job. Every watch also comes with a set of cufflinks containing material from the original air-frame of the final Vulcan in military service.
