Watch Porn: TAG Heuer’s New Monaco Purple Dial Inspired By A 60s Model From The Archives

The new TAG Heuer Monaco Purple Dial Limited Edition is a direct descendant of two early versions of the famed racing chronograph. Launched at the beginning of 1969, the Heuer Monaco reference 1113B and reference 1533 Calibre 15 had brass dials finished with metallic blue paint that faded over time to an ombré purple color. Inspired by these vintage models, TAG created a limited edition of 500 numbered Monaco chronographs with a smokey purple sunray brushed dial. The warmth of the dial sets off the two black sub-counters and the white SuperLumiNova coated hands and indexes. Water resistant to 100 meters, the 39-mm polished steel case houses the Calibre HEUER02 Automatic – an in-house movement with an 80 hour power reserve. The movement is visible through the sapphire case back and features a customized oscillating mass, column wheel, and engravings with purple details. As a finishing touch, the black alligator strap is lined with purple leather.
