Noah Unveils Limited ‘Made In Japan’ PUMA Clyde

PUMA introduced the Clyde basketball shoe in 1973 as a tribute to Walt ‘Clyde’ Frazier, the NBA legend known for his on court moves and off-court style. The low-top sneaker quickly gained popularity in the burgeoning hip hop and late ’70s skateboarding scenes. Fifty years on, the Clyde is considered a classic and Noah is marking this milestone with an exclusive version made in Japan. The limited edition Noah x PUMA Clyde features suede uppers with a co-branded ‘archive’ label on the tongue, gold foil quarter branding, Noah’s cross embossed on the heel tab, and contrasting PUMA Formstrip on the side. Available in Blue & Yellow, Green & Blue and Brown & Green, Noah sourced the leather from the only expert tannery in Japan specializing in suede. The dyed used to tan the hides was produced using a painstaking, age-old Japanese technique. Available March 16, 11 AM ET.
