Watch Porn: Bell & Ross ‘Streamlines’ The BR05 To Create New Artline

Bell & Ross’ new BR 05 Artline watch “incorporates an artistic dimension (art) in its design (line),” explains Bruno Belamich, co-founder of Bell & Ross. “When you look at it, you immediately think of the American style of the Stream-Line.” An offshoot of Art Deco, the Streamline Moderne movement emphasized aerodynamic curves and long horizontal lines. From the late 1920s to the early 1940s the style was applied to everything form planes, trains and automobiles, to appliances, furniture and architecture. The relief engraving on the BR 05 Artline is a direct reference to Streamline Moderne. This slender ornamentation adorns the fixed bezel and central links of the integrated bracelet. Inside the 40-mm steel case, the lustrous grey dial features photo-luminescent hands and indexes alongside a date window at 3 o’clock. The watch is powered by the in-house self-winding BR-CAL 321 calibre, visible through the sapphire case back. Limited to 250 pieces.
