America’s oldest clothing retailer teamed up with nostalgia specialist FILA for a limited-edition collection of apparel, footwear and accessories. Inspired by a shared loved of tennis, the Brooks Brothers + FILA capsule mixes American sartorial expertise with 110 years of sporty Italian style. All the pieces feature co-branded logos, including an exclusive version of the FILA F-box adapted to include Brooks Brothers iconic Golden Fleece symbol. Most of the designs are presented in the red, navy and white color palette shared by both brands. FILA sponsored tennis players will don the all-white pieces this summer during The Championships, Wimbledon.
To showcase the collaboration, writer and director Danny Sangra shot a short film filled with quirky characters dressed in the collection while trying to solve the mystery of missing balls at a tennis tournament (above). Titled Scandal on the Court, the whodunit stars actors Emelia Turnbull as Billie, Daniel Chitra as George, and Edwin Louis as Barry.
