J.M. Weston’s Latest Roland-Garros Collection Includes Vintage Inspired Style

J.M. Weston has been collaborating with the French Open tennis tournament for several years. For its latest Roland-Garros capsule the shoemaker created an exclusive version of the retro Tennis 1938 sneaker and brought back the popular On Time. The understated J.M. Weston x Roland-Garros Tennis 1938 ($470.00) takes design cues from classic court shoes found in Weston’s archive. The clay colored canvas uppers are trimmed and lined in leather and sit on ultra light rubber soles. This year’s J.M. Weston x Roland-Garros On Time low-tops ($582.00) are made from white calf leather with contrasting orange suede heel tabs – a reference to the French Open’s world famous clay courts.
