Watch Porn: Jaeger-LeCoultre Introduces Two New Master Control Models In Blue

Master Control Calendar

Jaeger-LeCoultre is expanding the Master Control Collection with two new models distinguished by deep-blue dials. Designed with highly legible complications, the dials of the Master Control Calendar and Master Control Date feature Arabic numerals with faceted dart markers for the hours and faceted Dauphine hands. Light blue minute scales and distinct minute divisions intercut with Super-LumiNova filled dots also emphasize legibility. The beveled case lugs on the 40-mm stainless steel cases curve toward the straps, while the slim bezels give the cases an open feel.

Jaeger-LeCoultre added a jumping date indication to the Master Control Calendar ($13,100.00). A slender date hand tipped with red-lacquer points to the date on the periphery of the dial. For optimal reading of the dual-display moon phase and small seconds sub-dial, the date hand makes a 90° jump between the 15th and 16th day of each month. This ensures that the moon phase and small seconds sub-dial is never bisected by the date hand. The white-on-blue day and month indications match the visual refinement found in the snailed finish of the small seconds sub-dial. The upper half of the sub-dial reveals the moon phase disc decorated with a star-studded background. Available in a limited edition of 800 pieces, the watches Calibre 866 movement is visible through the sapphire crystal case back.

Applying the same white-on-blue color scheme, the blue date ring of the Master Control Date ($8,700.00) displays white Arabic numerals through an aperture at 3 o’clock. Turning the watch over offers a view of the Calibre 899 through the sapphire crystal case back. This in-house movement produces a 70 hour power reserve. Available in a limited edition of 800 pieces.
