Watch Porn: Bremont Commemorates Famous WWII Air Raid With New Chrono

On May 16-17 1943 a British air squadron in 19 Lancaster Bombers executed one of the most famous air raids of WWII, immortalized in the 1955 film The Dam Busters. Operation Chastise was a dangerous, low-flying night attack that targeted dams in the Ruhr valley using bouncing bombs, aka dambusters. Two hydroelectric power stations vital to Germany’s production of war materiel were destroyed. The new Bremont Limited Edition Dambuster commemorates the 80th anniversary of the Lancaster Bomber and this courageous mission. Taking design cues from 1940s military watches, the 42-mm chrono features a mono pusher movement and date function, illuminated aviator style hands on the dial and sub-dials, and a red center seconds hand – all set against a ‘Dirty Dozen’ inspired black metal dial. Each watch comes with a set of silver Avro Lancaster Cufflinks made with aluminium from the original airframe of Lancaster B.VII NX611 Just Jane heavy bomber.
