Watch Porn: Hublot + Shepard Fairey Offer New Take On Classic Fusion With Limited Edition Mandala

For his second collaboration with Hublot, Shepard Fairey designed a new Classic Fusion timepiece inspired by the Mandala, a Hindu and Buddist symbol of the universe. Sanskrit for circle, the symbolic pattern bearing multiple projections of an image is a reoccurring theme in Fairey’s artwork. The pattern appears on the Hublot Mandala’s titanium case and bezel as a blossoming flower motif, created by Fairey to symbolize “growth and harmony with planet Earth.” The patter continues on the dial, cut to reveal the HUB1155 self-winding chronograph movement. Fairey’s signature “Star Gear” mark sits at the center of the dial. Available in a limited edition of 50 pieces, sales of the 45-mm watch will support Amnesty International.
