Watch Porn: Bremont + Jaguar Mark 60th Anniversary Of The E-Type With Limited Box Set

In 1961 Jaguar launched the first E-type sports car at the Geneva Motor Show. To celebrate this iconic roadster and mark its 60th anniversary, Bremont developed 120 commemorative box sets with a limited edition chronograph and co-branded rally timer inside. Half the box sets include a Bremont Jaguar E-Type 60th watch in Drop Everything Green, with another 60 available in Flat Out Grey. The bezel and strap colors come from the custom Pantone formulas used on the cars. Each watch is constructed with a 43mm stainless steel case, with polished bevels on the lugs and a winding crown engraved with the tread pattern of the Dunlop racing tires fitted to the E-type. The hour and minute hands replicate the car’s tachometer needle and sit on a black dial inspired by the E-type’s instrument gauges. Bremont’s automatic movement is visible through the sapphire crystal case back – which is shaped like the alloy-spoke E-type steering wheel.

The rally timer is a twofer, a stopwatch with a tachymeter on the left, and a clock with sub-seconds on the right. Both are mounted on an engine-turned back-plate, which can be displayed on a desktop stand or fitted into a car.

The Jaguar E-Type 60th ($16,495.00) is available now from bremont.com.
