Kim Jones Showcases Dior Men’s Summer 2021 Amoako Boafo Collaboration With Colorful Lookbook

The Dior Men 2021 Collection is a testament to Artistic Director Kim Jones’ admiration for the work Ghana-born, Vienna-trained contemporary artist Amoako Boafo. Inspired by the graphic patterns and thick, gestural brushstrokes of Boafo’s portrait paintings, Jones translated the works into embroideries, intarsia knits and a jacquard print of paintbrush strokes. Photographer Rafael Pavarotti and art director Ronnie Cooke Newhouse capture the collaborations “vivid, near-surreal hues” modeled by Babacar N’doye, Samer Rahma and Jeremiah Berko Fordjour.
