Willy Chavarria introduced his first denim capsule, Dirty Willy Denim, as part of his Spring 2020 runway show. The oversized jackets, boxy work shirts and generously cut high rise jeans and cargo pants are all cut from sustainably produced organic denim in custom washed black and indigo. Inspired by the early ’90s club scene (particularly the Love Garage, a San Francisco nightclub owned by the California-born fashion designer), the exaggerated shapes eschew menswear trends for a nostalgic look back to the era of rave culture.
