British menswear designer Lou Dalton is having a moment. Last year, after several seasons of growing critical and commercial success, her Spring Summer 2013 collection was selected by the British Fashion Council as the first official show of the new menswear initiative, London Collection: Men. This season Dalton is venturing into footwear with a collaboration with heritage brand Grenson. In an interview with PORT magazine she described the boot as having “a very strong workwear feel about it, with a robust acid free sole, a slight square toe, ladder lacing close together with an internal padding in and around the ankle.”
The Lou Dalton for Grenson boot made its debut at her Autumn Winter 2013 show and will be available for sale in the coming season. Read the entire interview with PORT magazine here.

I agree. These boot are on my shopping list. I’ve ask their PR where and when the boots will be available. I will email you the information when I know. I asked a rep at Opening Ceremony in NYC but they don’t plan on carrying the boots. FYI, if you are in NYC Owen in the Meatpacking District has a nice selection of Lou Dalton in stock now.
