Founded in 1966 as the Van Doren Rubber Company, Vans brought California’s skateboarding subculture into fashion’s mainstream. The brand’s iconic sneakers were an instant hit with riders. Drawn to their rugged construction, sticky waffle soles and laid-back vibe. The shoes evolved over time. But stayed true to core models built for skate performance, and classic styles that reinforce Vans’ laid-back vibe. The Vans Premium SF Moc Low is now part of that evolution. A cross between a chukka and a sneaker, the design takes a two-eyelet silhouette and adds moccasin-style stitching around the toe.

Today, the latest iteration of the Premium SF Moc Low gets a new dimensional finish. Set on the brand’s signature waffle sole, the suede uppers are embellished with raised tonal stitching across the vamp. Vans’ famous Sidestripe also gets an upgrade. Instead of attaching a separate strip of leather, the logo is perforated into the side panel and filled in with a line of cross stitching.
