The new Panerai Luminor Marina PAM01707 brings together vintage-inspired style and material innovation. Made of Carbotech, the 44mm case combines lightness, corrosion resistance, and durability. Carbotech is a composite of carbon fiber sheets compressed with an advanced polymer. Each fiber layer is set at a different angle, creating an undulating pattern that makes every case distinct.
Inspired by mid-century dive watches, the combination of the matte black dial, beige lume and aged-brown leather strap gives the Carbotech case a more lived-in vibe. The beige Super-LumiNova, especially, delivers a warmer vintage tone – and glows green in the dark. With no date display, a nod to vintage divers, its small seconds at 9 o’clock gives a quick indication that the watch is running. Panerai’s P.9010 automatic caliber produces a 3 day power reserve.
