Adidas is launching an innovative sweat-wicking fabric as part of its 2026 London Collection. Engineered for summer’s grass court tennis season, the new CLIMACOOL+ is the most advanced cooling fabric in adidas‘ CLIMA system. The fabric is embossed with textured patterns in areas where players experience heat and sweat buildup. Adidas used 3D body-mapping, climate chamber testing and athlete insights to determine the layout of the patterns. This placement helps to reduce cling and distraction during high-intensity play. As a result, CLIMACOOL+ helps athletes stay cool, dry and mobile when heat, humidity and sweat intensify.
CLIMACOOL+ will debut on court this summer with select pieces. Then it will be showcased at The Championships, Wimbledon — the climax of the grass court tennis season. Felix Auger-Aliassime, Francisco Cerundolo, Grigor Dimitrov and other Adidas sponsored pros will wear pieces made especially for them with CLIMACOOL+ fabric. CLIMACOOL+ will also be integrated into select pieces from the London Collection, available in limited quantities this summer.
