The most recent James Bond film, Daniel Craig’s No Time to Die, was released in 2021. The next installment isn’t expected until 2028. This marks the longest gap in the franchise’s history. Surpassing the six-year, four-month hiatus between 1989’s License to Kill and 1995’s GoldenEye. So what’s a brand with a languishing product placement deal to do? Omega, Bond’s watch of choice since 1995, is pivoting to video games. Their latest Bond timepiece appears in the upcoming game 007 First Light. Launching on 27 May 2026, the game features a new origin story with a 26-year-old James Bond. A Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph is crucial to the success of Bond’s missions. Fitted with a hacking device and a laser strap, the watch is an essential tool for players as they earn their 007 status.

The Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph 007 First Light is the first-ever chronograph in Omega’s 007 Seamaster lineup. This is to match the watch’s appearance in the game, where the subdials have a functional role during play. Crafted in stainless steel, the watch features a polished black ceramic bezel ring with a white enamel diving scale, and pushers in polished black ceramic. The black ceramic dial sports a subdial ring at 3 o’clock finished in PVD bronze gold. The same bronze gold is used for the central seconds hand. While all other hands and indexes are rhodium-plated and filled with Super-LumiNova. The watch is driven by the self-winding Calibre 9900. This in-house movement powers a small-seconds display at 9 o’clock, and a 60-minute and 12-hour recorder at 3 o’clock.

This Diver 300M also introduces an exclusive new NATO Strap inspired by the design elements of the game. The striped design features a black, grey and beige colourway – the same as the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M worn by Daniel Craig’s Bond in No Time to Die. Alternatively, wearers can choose from six other NATO Strap choices, available separately from Omega’s accessories collection. These are all based on the different straps that are playable within 007 First Light.
