Omega just launched two new Speedmaster Moonwatch models, reinterpreting the classic look of the 4th generation Speedmaster worn on the moon. Available in stainless steel ($10,000.00) or 18K ‘Moonshine’ gold ($49,300.00), both models feature the Moonwatch’s signature step dial, which is put together with a double plate. The top plate is black, varnished and lacquered for luster, and includes rhodium-plated subdial frames. While the base layer for the subdials is produced in white, also with a varnished and lacquered finish.

In combination with the black and white dial, the new watches include black ceramic bezel rings with tachymeter scales in white enamel – with the famous dot over 90. The watch is powered by Omega’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861, which drives the small seconds sub-dial, 30-minute recorder and 12-hour recorder, along with the central chronograph function.
