Established in 1998, Nike ACG built its reputation by creating footwear that’s light, fast and ‘speaks trail fluently.’ The upcoming ACG Ultrafly combines the sub-label’s outdoor-specific expertise with Nike’s running DNA. Incorporating Nike’s most advanced footwear technology, this silhouette is tuned to meet the needs of elite and everyday athletes across all trail disciplines. This begins with Nike’s ZoomX foam, a ZoomX sock liner and a unique carbon fiber FlyPlate. A combo that produces consistent propulsion and a responsive ride.

The ACG Ultrafly’s ZoomX midsole uses Nike’s lightest and most responsive foam, which provides 85% energy return and enhanced impact protection — it’s exposed to allow the midsole room to morph as needed in response to the terrain. The redesigned FlyPlate is less rigid than its Ultrafly predecessor, with a spine split that enables enough flex to carve over roots, rocks and difficult terrain. A Vibram Litebase sole provides superior grip, reduced weight and next-level control on rugged up/downhill terrain. While a breathable, faster-draining upper helps runners take on water crossings and other trail obstacles without breaking stride. Redesigned on a trail-specific last, the upper also features an internal fit band and gusseted tongue for improved fit and consistent comfort over long miles. The Nike ACG Ultrafly will be available in spring 2026 at nike.com in a Safety Orange launch colorway.
