Breitling teamed up football superstar Erling Haaland to launch two watches featuring meteorite dials. Both Erling Haaland Signature Chronomat models feature dials cut from the 4.5-billion-year-old Muonionalusta meteorite. Having landed almost one million years ago, the Muonionalusta meteorite is one of the oldest materials ever discovered on Earth. It’s composed primarily of iron and nickel, and also contains trace elements like cobalt and rare silicates not common in terrestrial rocks. Slices of the meteorite were adapted to fit the case of the Chronomat B01 42 and the Chronomat Automatic GMT 40. The result is a pattern of interlaced crystalline bands, visible to the naked eye and impossible to replicate. No two dials are alike.

Breitling’s limited edition Chronomat B01 42 Erling Haaland ramps things up with an 18k red-gold case, meteorite dial, and three black chronograph subdials.
