Filson’s Archival Packer Coat Now Available With PrimaLoft Insulation

Filson just released a heavy-duty version its archival Packer Coat, cut from Tin Cloth and insulated with PrimaLoft. Originally developed for the US Army as an all-weather alternative to goose down, PrimaLoft’s fibers retain 98% of their heat-trapping ability – even when wet. To seal in the warmth the inner-sleeve cuffs are rib-knit, while an extra layer of Filson’s signature waxed cotton covers the shoulders for maximum water resistance. The shawl collar is lined with thick wool and extends to ear height for warmth in biting wind. This reissue has ample storage with four cargo pockets on the front and a full-width, pass-through pocket on the back. Filson used genuine horn buttons finish the look and secure the front and the removable throat latch.
