Just in time for the second Miami Grand Prix this weekend, IWC unveils the latest Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team. Crafted from grade 5 titanium, the 41-mm chronograph pays tribute to the host city with a ‘Miami Pink’ rubber strap inspired by the vibrant colors of Ocean Drive. IWC became the official engineering partner of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team in 2013. Team members will wear the Miami Pink model during the F1 race at the Miami International Autodrome, where the gloves and shoes of team drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell will sport matching pink details.

The previous Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team on a green rubber strap (Ref. IW388108) was the first official team watch IWC produced for its partner. Like the original, the Miami Pink version (Ref. IW388114), features a black dial with luminescent hands, numerals and markers in the team’s signature PETRONAS green. IWC’s 69385 calibre movement powers the watch. The chronograph movement’s column-wheel design comprises 242 parts and can be viewed through the sapphire crystal case back. Its bi-directional pawl winding system builds up a power reserve of 46 hours in the mainspring. The Miami Pink model ($8,350.00) comes in a bundle with the original green strap and can only be purchased on iwc.com and in IWC’s Miami boutique for a limited time.
