Maharishi Partners With Warhol Foundation For New Capsule

Maharishi continues the Lunar New Year celebrations with a tiger themed collection inspired by the work of Andy Warhol. The prints and embroidery used to decorate the apparel and lifestyle pieces reference some of Warhol’s most iconic artwork, including the c.1975 ‘Tiger Head’ graphite drawing, c.1985 Hokusai-inspired ‘Wave’ print, c.1967 ‘Banana’ from The Velvet Underground’s debut album cover and his instantly recognizable hibiscus blossoms ‘Flowers’ silkscreen. The apparel selection features everything from hoodies, sweats and camp collar shirts to overshirts and reversible cotton jackets. While the lifestyle and home decor pieces include skate decks, cushions and wool rugs – in a variety of colorful camo prints.
