The 2026 Singapore Grand Prix runs from October 9 to 11, completing 62 laps around the city’s iconic Marina Bay. To mark the occasion, IWC Schaffhausen and Mercedes-AMG Petronas just released their latest team watch. The Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team is the fourth team watch IWC has developed for its partner. Swathed in purple, the design takes inspiration from Singapore’s national flower – the Vanda Miss Joaquim orchid.

Crafted from a lightweight titanium alloy, the 41-mm chronograph sports a deep purple dial – a first in IWC’s Pilot’s collection. As with all previous team watches, the dial also features details in Petronas green. This distinctive shade appears on the numerals and indices, and as luminescent coating on the hands. IWC’s 69385 caliber, a mechanical chronograph built on a columnwheel architecture, powers the watch. The stop minutes are indicated at 12 o’clock using IWC’s vertical subdial layout. This dial configuration has been a feature of IWC’s Pilot’s Chronographs for more than four decades. The combined day/date display at 3 o’clock adds a layer of practicality. A bidirectional pawl winding system provides a 46-hour power reserve. Like its predecessors, the new watch will be worn by team members track-side, along with drives Kimi Antonelli and George Russell.
