
Swatch is going luxe with the latest edition of the quartz-powered MoonSwatch. The MISSION TO THE MOON 1969 featuring a dial, hands, crown, and pushers crafted from Omega’s 18K Moonshine Gold. As its name suggests, the watch celebrates the Moon landing of Apollo 11, on July 21, 1969. This 42 mm chronograph features a matte black ceramic case topped by a matching bezel with a gold-colored tachymeter scale. The dial sports recessed counters with black hands and Arabic numerals, alongside gold beveled indexes with black varnished interiors. On the back, the battery cover features a gold-colored Moon design with an anti-scratch coating. It also displays the Apollo 11 Moon landing and a footprint referencing the first step taken on the Sea of Tranquility, Apollo 11’s landing site.
