True to its aviation DNA, Bell & Ross worked closely with France’s aerial aerobatics demonstration unit to create the new BR-X3 Patrouille de France. This is the first watch in the Patrouille de France series built on the recently launched BR-X3 platform. Bell & Ross used polished/satin steel for the 41 mm case, and blue anodized aluminum for the bezel ring and structural columns. This combination gives the unit’s pilots the necessary mix of lightness, strengthen and durability.

The dial of the BR-X3 Patrouille de France is build with three plates: a matte black base, a blue and white skeleton applique, and a matte black insert. It also incorporates the unit’s emblem and shades of blue. One for the blue of the Alpha Jet, one for the helmet, and one for the flight suit. The central seconds hand features a counterweight in the shape of an Alpha Jet. While the power reserve indicator at 9 o’clock sports the colors of the French flag: blue, white, and red. As a finishing touch, the PAF insignia sits at 6 o’clock in the squadron’s signature diamond formation.
