IWC Schaffhausen partnered with Mercedes Formula One Team driver George Russell to launch two new Pilot’s Watches. Russell worked with the IWC design team to create a chronograph and an automatic model crafted from black ceramic. Both watches feature black dials with markers and luminescence in the F1 team’s particular shade of teal. This blue hue is an exact match to Russell’s racing helmet and the accents on the team’s official livery. Both watches also feature titanium case backs engraved with Russell’s starting number, 63. The chronograph (Ref. IW389411) is powered by the IWC’s calibre 69380, while the automatic model (Ref. IW328107) runs on IWC’s calibre 32112. Both come fitted to durable blue rubber straps.

The Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 George Russell ($12,900.00) features a 41.9-mm case crafted from black ceramic, a material that’s lighter than steel and highly scratch-resistant. While the crown and pushers are made of Ceratanium, a material developed by IWC that combines the lightness of titanium with the hardness of ceramic. The black dial features numerals, indices and luminescent hands in the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team’s signature shade of blue.

The Pilot’s Watch Automatic 41 George Russell ($8,900.00) is housed in a 41-mm case made from black ceramic, with a crown made from Ceratanium. Similar to the chronograph, this model displays indices, numerals and Super-LumiNova in the team’s signature blue. It’s powered by the IWC calibre 32112, which includes a double-pawl winding system that provides a power reserve of 120 hours.
