Vans + Setinn Ace New Tennis Themed Collaboration

VANS teamed up with Japanese sportswear label Setinn for a seven piece tennis-inspired capsule collection.

Vans and Setinn are teaming up for their first-ever collaboration. Launched in 2024 by BEAMS buyer Shingo Arai, Setinn is a sportswear brand rooted in the timeless aesthetics of tennis. Arai’s childhood memories of skateboarders grinding on tennis courts inspired the concept behind the collaboration, ‘playing tennis in skate shoes.’ The 7-piece capsule includes apparel, accessories and Setinn’s first tennis sneakers: the Vans x Setinn LX Authentic 44 and Vans x Setinn Speed WS.

Setinn’s spin on both shoes is surprisingly subtle. The white canvas upper of the Authentic sports a sparse printed black windowpane pattern, a direct reference to tennis nets. While the Speed, an ‘obscure archive model’ from the 1990s, is defined by its puffed up tongue, slightly bulky ankle collar and super simple white/green colorway. Co-branded T-shirts and tech shorts, along with a six-panel cap and bandanna round out the collection. Available from 9 August 2025.
