Tudor ambassador Fabian Cancellara is returning to professional cycling. Not as a rider, but as a team owner. The Swiss pro retired from competition following the Rio Olympics, with three Olympic medals, 21 Grand Tour stage wins, and 29 Tour de France yellow jerseys — the most of any cyclist who hasn’t won the overall race.

Fabian Cancellara earned the nickname Spartacus for the determination he showed during the 2004 Tour de France. To honor his legacy Tudor is issuing a special edition Pelagos FXD Chrono, with yellow accents inspired by Canellara’s days battling France’s most challenging roads in the brutal summer heat. Encased in carbon composite, the 43-mm Pelagos FXD Chrono ‘Yellow’ sports a yellow tachymeter scale specifically calibrated to speeds cyclists can sustain. Yellow accents also appear on the chronograph counters at 3 and 9 o’clock. Tudor’s MT5813 chronograph movement powers the watch. Available in a limited edition of 300 pieces.
