J.Crew’s Brendon Babenzien teamed up with Union Los Angeles owner Chris Gibbs to design a capsule collection of perennial styles. Longtime friends, the duo fused J.Crew’s classic design references with Union’s contemporary Californian aesthetic. Standouts include a chore jacket – inspired by the French bleu de travail – and matching painter pant cut from durable cotton with a herringbone weave. The ‘very limited’ lineup also includes co-branded graphic tees and heavy duty sweatshirts, alongside a patchwork rugby shirt made from heavyweight cotton and a matching pajama set embellished with Japanese style sashiko stitching.
