According to Rag & Bone’s founder Marcus Wainwright ‘there is not a watch on earth that tells time better than’ the CASIO A1000, one of the earliest mass-produced digital watches. So, as part of the New York-based brand’s 20th anniversary celebrations Wainwright endeavored to create an ‘elevated version of an object that was essentially perfect in the first place.’ His limited edition design features an upgraded 39.6mm stainless steel case with sapphire glass and a fully adjustable five-row steel bracelet. To make it ‘a little bit more stealth, a little bit more under the radar’ Wainwright added a matte PVD finish. The LCD screen displays the time, date, stopwatch and alarm. All the settings are controlled by push buttons on the case sides. The co-branded watches are available in Grey and Black.
