They help provide steady traction and grip the trail on ascents and descents. Lightweight, breathable uppers – in shades of grey with touches orange and florescent yellow – enhance ventilation and cooling. The React Pegasus Trail 4 ($140.00) and the Wildhorse 7 ($130.00) have React foam cushioning designed to handle transitions from roads to trails and back again. While the no-frills Air Zoom Terra Kiger 8 ($140.00) is built to lock in the heels, keeping the feet secure and moving with the shoe. Resulting in more agility over rocky terrain.
