For his latest collection with L.L. Bean, Todd Snyder looked to the beauty of coastal Main in the spring for inspiration. “I was thinking about the sort of warm-weather styles that a guy would wear for a beach hike during the day and then relaxing by a campfire at night” Snyder said. Dubbed Maine-ahs – the pronunciation residents of The Pine Tree State use to refer to locals – this is Snyder’s first Spring/Summer collaboration with the Maine-based retailer. A subtle 80’s vibe can be seen in the anoraks, baggie hiking shorts, recycled fleeces and archival L.L. Bean logo emblazoned on t-shirts, beanies and trucker hats. The Maine-ahs collection launches April 7.
