Bell & Ross just added a ‘Brown Bronze’ option to the BR 03-92 diver lineup. As on previous versions, the corrosion resistant 42-mm bronze case is water resistant to 300 meters and features a solid bronze bezel with a 60-minute scale and anodized aluminum ring – now in brown. The deep-sea diver’s helmet engraved on the stainless steel case back is a direct reference to the alloy’s importance in naval engineering and the ‘cooper hat’ helmets used by early deep water divers. Gold-plated luminescent hands and indices on the brown dial match the warm tones of the case and bezel. Powered by a Swiss-made calibre BR-CAL.302 automatic movement with 38-hour power-reserve, the watch comes in a special presentation box with an optional woven black rubber strap. As it ages the bronze case develops a singular pinkish patina, making each of the 999 models produced unique.
