Watch Porn: TAG Heuer’s New ‘Formula 1 Senna’ Honors Racing Legend

In 1988, Ayrton Senna da Silva partnered with TAG Heuer as a brand ambassador. Three years later Senna became the youngest Formula 1 driver to win three world championships when he took the chequered flag at the Australian Grand Prix. In 1994, he was fatally injured in a crash during the San Marino Grand Prix. TAG Heuer’s new Formula 1 Senna Special Edition commemorates his record setting career and the 30th anniversary of a groundbreaking championship. The yellow and black color scheme and double S logo reflect Senna’s personal merchandise brand – a play on his full surname representing S chicane turns on a racing circuit.

Coated in black DLC, the 43-mm stainless steel case holds a grey anthracite dial sporting yellow accented hour, minute and second indicators at 6, 9, and 3 o’clock, alongside luminous hands and indices. A yellow border highlights the numbers engraved on the black ceramic tachymeter bezel. The number 400 engraved on the bezel next to SENNA at 12 o’clock is a reference to the 400 km/h speed that has never been reached in F1. Powered by a Swiss-made quartz movement, the watch is water resistant to 200 meters (20 bar). As a final tribute, an image of Ayrton Senna’s helmet is engraved on the case back under the words SENNA SPECIAL EDITION.
