Watch Porn: Girard-Perregaux’s Latest Aston Martin Chronograph

The Laureato Chronograph Aston Martin Edition is the latest design from Girard-Perregaux’s ongoing partnership with the British automaker. Girard-Perregaux crafted the distinctive ‘Aston Martin Green’ dial by painstakingly applying twenty-one coats of paint, forming seven distinct layers. The dials diamond-like, cross-hatch pattern references the 1920s ‘AM’ logo and the quilted seats found in Aston Martin’s luxury sports cars. Housed in a 42-mm 904L stainless steel case with a matching bracelet and an octagonal bezel, the watch profile emulates Girard-Perregaux’s 1975 Laureato. The calibre GP03300-0141 movement, blued screws, Côtes de Genève finishing and signature eagle emblem – signifying an in-house calibre – are all visible through the sapphire crystal case back. Limited to 188 pieces, this is the first-ever Laureato Chronograph with an open case back.

The Laureato Chronograph Aston Martin Edition ($18,100.00), available now at select retailers. For locations and availability to to girard-perregaux.com.
