Watch Porn: Omega’s Moonwatch Is Now A Master Chronometer

Omega’s iconic Speedmaster Moonwatch is now a Master Chronometer. The 2021 Moonwatch collection runs on the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861. Certified at the industry’s highest standard of precision, the new movement has a 50 hour power reserve and ensures the watches are unaffected by even the most extreme magnetic fields. This very modern movement is paired with a retro inspired 42mm case modeled on the 4th generation Moonwatch style worn by Apollo 11 astronauts on the moon in 1969. Omega brought back the classic asymmetrical case, the step dial, the double bevel caseback, and the famous dot over 90 (DON) and a dot diagonal to 70 on the anodized aluminum bezel ring.

Omega will launch eight versions of the Moonwatch Master Chronometer, including the 18K Sedna Gold ($34,800) and 18K Canopus Gold ($45,300) styles available exclusively in Omega boutiques. See the collection at omegawatches.com.
