The Acne Studios + Dizonord Collaboration Takes Design Cues From Album Cover Art

Acne Studios founder and Creative Director Jonny Johansson’s interest in art, photography, architecture and contemporary culture is the driving force behind the brands creativity and resulting success. His varied interests lead to Acne’s new collaboration with Dizonord, an alternative record store and independent label in the 18th arrondissement of Paris. Run by Xavier Ehretsmann and Vincent Privat, the Dizonord space also functions as a cafe, performance venue and community center. The record store stocks both secondhand and new releases covering a variety of genres, from new age, house and French Caribbean Zouk, to club 12 inches, B-sides and French cosmic disco. All the t-shirts, sweatshirts and a half-zip parka are decorated with graphics inspired by the sleeve art of the cassette tapes and old-school vinyl records lining the shelves at Dizonord.
