Get Wrapped Up In Inis Meáin’s Cozy Knit Raftery Coat

Now that quarantine has made us all creatures of comfort with an ever expanding selection of loopback sweatshirts and WFH sweatpants, Inis Meáin has the perfect coat to ease you back into tailored clothing. Designed to fit like a jacket with the comfort of a cardigan, the knitted Raftery Coat was inspired by the famed 19th century nomadic poet Antoine Ó Raifteiri, aka Raftery. The blind Irish bard’s clothes were often remarked upon, particularly his long frieze coat – the Cóta Raiftearaí. With that inspiration in mind, this coat is constructed from a soft Donegal wool and cashmere blend in an earthy shade of red with amber, white and blue speckles. Left unlined, the patch pockets and natural drape keep it feeling relaxed.

The Raftery Coat ($950.00) is available now at inismeain.ie.
