Sometimes little tweaks make a big difference. The new Clarks Originals Desert Coal adds a wedged crepe rubber sole to the classic chukka style introduced by Nathan Clark in 1950. Maintaining the clean lines of Mr. Clark’s original desert boot, the uppers are cut from premium Charles F Stead suede – in Mustard, Maple and Black – with 3-eyelet lacing. This isn’t the fist desert boot with a wedge sole, but these are a nice alternative from the company that popularized this fashion fixture.
